Brigade Commander, U.S. Army Reserve · Knowledge Management Specialist at SAIC / USINDOPACOM J7. Turning operational complexity into automated clarity — from joint command floors to software.
About
I'm an operations leader with deep experience in complex, high-consequence environments — from commanding Army units across the Pacific to running revenue analytics at Intel. The common thread: turning ambiguous problems into structured systems that actually get used.
I currently serve as Brigade Commander of the 650th Regional Support Group, U.S. Army Reserve — a 1,000+ Soldier, multi-state organization responsible for readiness, logistics, personnel, and financial management across the Western theater. It's executive-level accountability in every sense: setting strategic priorities, owning resourcing and budget decisions, developing subordinate commanders and staff, and ensuring the organization can mobilize and perform on short notice. That leadership track runs from platoon to brigade over two decades, including three combat deployments to Iraq.
At USINDOPACOM J7, I helped shape the vision for what an AI-enabled joint command could look like — not just automating tasks, but rethinking how an organization generates, tracks, and acts on information. I drove automation that saved the directorate 36 man-days a year, built Power BI dashboards that compressed hours of reporting into minutes, and championed a culture of continuous process improvement.
Outside of my day job, I build. The projects on this site represent real tools — running locally, solving real problems — in AI orchestration, personal finance, military staff automation, and data collection.

Featured Work
Brigade Commander, 650th Regional Support Group
I lead a 1,000+ person, multi-state military organization — the closest civilian equivalent is a divisional president or COO. I set strategic priorities, own resourcing and budget decisions, and hold final accountability for the organization's readiness and performance. The job is executive leadership at scale: building capable teams, developing the leaders beneath me, and making sure the organization can mobilize and deliver when it matters most.
Key Focus Areas
- ▸Training — designing and executing readiness training plans across subordinate units so personnel are qualified and mission-ready
- ▸Resource Management — owning budget, equipment, and personnel allocation across a distributed, multi-state organization
- ▸Mobilization — planning and executing rapid activation and deployment of units, coordinating logistics and sustainment under time pressure
- ▸Organizational & Leader Development — building bench strength by developing subordinate commanders and staff for future senior leadership
J7 AI & Automation Initiative
As a Joint Training Operations Specialist, I served as the primary driver of automation and AI adoption within USINDOPACOM's training directorate. My contribution was less about writing code and more about generating strategic momentum: defining what the AI-enabled command could look like, building cross-functional buy-in, and pioneering concrete tools that demonstrated value quickly.
Key Contributions
- ▸Led the J72 Innovation Working Group, championing the vision for an AI-enabled joint training command across leadership levels
- ▸Built Power BI dashboards that reduced training compliance reporting from hours to under 5 minutes, with drill-down to individual completion status
- ▸Integrated disparate data sources to give leadership real-time visibility into AI training compliance across the command
- ▸Leveraged Power Automate to streamline workflows, driving measurable workforce efficiency gains across the directorate
Official Travel Request Tool
Government travel requests are paper-heavy, error-prone, and manually intensive. I built an automation database using Microsoft Office that eliminated hundreds of hours of data entry annually — and went further by embedding data-driven forecasting directly into the budget request process. The result: receipts-backed forecasts that gave leadership real evidence for budget justification.
What It Does
- ▸Automated hundreds of travel request submissions per year, eliminating manual data entry and reducing approval cycle time
- ▸Saved 36 man-days per year in data input and approvals across the directorate
- ▸Integrated historical travel data to generate evidence-based budget forecasts — replacing gut-feel estimates with receipt-backed projections
- ▸Built additional automation hooks to handle downstream repetitive processes triggered by travel approvals
"We bring the receipts" — data-driven forecasting replacing assumption-based government budget requests with verifiable, historical evidence.
Projects
Personal tools built outside of my day job — each one solving a real problem. All run locally; some will be made publicly accessible as demos.
AMC Space-A Flight Scraper
LiveReal-time schedule extraction for military Space-A travel planning
Automated scraper for AMC Space-Available military flight schedules. Uses Playwright for browser automation and custom PDF parsing to extract flight data and output structured CSV/JSON for planning.
Job Application Dashboard
LiveNo-backend approach — Google Sheets as the data layer
React/Vite dashboard that pulls job application data from Google Sheets and provides a visual tracking interface. Features local persistence, status tracking, and pipeline visibility across active applications.
AI Ops System (n8n)
In ProgressEnd-to-end ops automation for personal and professional workflows
Three-workflow personal operations system built in n8n Cloud: a social media curation pipeline, an AI process breakdown agent, and a voice orchestrator — all connected to OpenAI for intelligent routing and summarization.
